Fundamentals, skills, and techniques covered:
- Peyote stitch
- Basic bead stringing
- Crimping/finishing
Class Description: Peyote stitch 24k gold and sterling silver metal seed beads around metal channel beads and accent them with Swarovski pearls and a metal crown charm to create this designer inspired bracelet and earring set. Students will assemble this bracelet and earring set using basic stringing techniques and basic wire work techniques.. You WILL NOT complete this project in class.
Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Prior experience with peyote stitch is a plus
Materials you are required to bring: Scissors, thread zapper, 2 needle nose pliers, 1 round nose plier, crimper tool, bead mat, hypo cement glue, wire cutters, task lamp (optional)
